Dear students,

After 25 years at the Chair of Corporate Education, it's time to say goodbye.

I will be retiring on April 1, 2026 and leaving the fate of the institute in younger hands.

We have achieved a great deal in the last 25 years. Corporate education, which is a special form of pedagogy, has become increasingly established at the university and in the surrounding economy.

The dual Bachelor's degree in particular is enjoying increasing demand among students, especially as combinations such as Business Studies and Economics and Business Education are particularly beneficial for future employment in corporate HR management.

Even in challenging times such as the coronavirus pandemic, we have all managed to maintain business education teaching and research despite adverse circumstances. New digital forms of teaching have been developed and have now proven their worth.

Of course, I would also like to thank all of our institute's employees wholeheartedly for their tireless commitment.

Even though I will no longer have my office in Bürgerstraße, you can still reach me via my university account.

I wish all students a successful degree and then a wise career choice, and I wish my colleagues at the institute much joy and success in supporting the students entrusted to us.
